Day 43…Back to the daily grind

Monday…back to work and a little easier for me to stay on track.  I did mostly NS food today, except for my dinner.  It started snowing again as I was leaving work.  This is getting ridiculous!  It was more of a slide home than a drive home on some of the residential streets.  Ugh…I am ready for spring!!

Breakfast:  Maple brown sugar oatmeal (NS) with blueberries; 1/2 WW whole wheat english muffin with cottage cheese; coffee.

Lunch:  Rotini with meatballs (NS); roasted brussel sprouts; salad with spring mix, snow peas, carrots, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, beets, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, hard boiled egg, broccoli, peppers, pecans, chickpeas, quinoa and cooked chicken breast with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Dinner:  Egg beaters, canadian bacon, FF cheese, hot sauce and ketchup on Thomas’ BetterStart 100 calorie multi-grain english muffin; cottage cheese.

Most times I don’t feel like having a full, regular meal at dinnertime.  I would rather have breakfast foods…not sure why, maybe the comfort factor.  I know my lunch salad had more proteins and fats than I am supposed to have, but I can never pass up a good salad bar. 

Afternoon snack was a string cheese and orange (surprise!) and after dinner dessert was a warmed chocolate chip cookie (NS).  Yum.  That’s all for today…not too bad.
